Logistics Specialist (Contract) – Oman

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will manage international movements of assets, products, and materials for projects in Oman on a one‑year contract. You will coordinate third‑party carriers, domestic planners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost‑effective deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate third‑party resources for international shipments and coordinate domestic movements.
• Optimize equipment utilization, select cost‑effective routes, and use contracted carrier rates.
• Provide schedule updates, track shipments in real time, and communicate deviations to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with international transport regulations and company policies.
• Act as the focal point for all international logistics movements, interfacing with import/export teams.
• Report deviations in QUEST, follow up on supplier issues, and participate in performance analysis meetings.
• Manage purchase orders, risk assessments, and warranty claim processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics, planning, or project execution experience.
• Experience in production facilities or EPCC projects.
• Background in project planning or execution procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with import/export activities, approvals, and permits.
