Materials Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AAW Consulting Engineers & Partners is seeking a Materials Engineer to support upcoming roads and infrastructure projects in Oman. The role focuses on the selection, inspection, testing, and quality control of construction materials used in these projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in selecting appropriate construction materials for road and infrastructure works.
• Conduct material inspections and testing according to project specifications.
• Maintain quality control records and ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate with project teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in materials engineering, preferably in road or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with material inspection and testing procedures.
• Understanding of construction quality standards.
• Strong technical reporting and coordination abilities.
