Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer (Break & Fix Support)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to deliver Break & Fix support on an on‑call freelance basis. The professional will work both onsite and remotely, diagnosing and resolving hardware, network and virtualization incidents for enterprise customers while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents.
• Deploy, configure and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform system upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, virtualization and network issues.
• Resolve network connectivity problems (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Implement and support backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Respond to critical incidents within agreed response times.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams on infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and incident reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking or IT support engineering.
• Valid CCNA certification with at least 90% on the induction assessment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently in customer‑facing environments.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer‑service orientation.
