Packing Machine Technician (Biscuits)

About the role

A leading FMCG company in Oman is looking for experienced Packing Machine Technicians to operate, maintain and troubleshoot biscuit packaging lines. The role ensures continuous production, high quality packaging and compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust biscuit packing machines and automated lines.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Set up and calibrate machines for different product sizes and packaging formats.
• Inspect finished goods for packaging quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain daily logs, maintenance records and production reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality and maintenance teams to meet targets.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene and HSE regulations.

Required profile

• Degree, Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Mandatory experience in packing machine operation and maintenance within the FMCG biscuits industry.
• Gulf region experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, six days a week.
