Painting Inspector – On‑site Role in Oman

About the role

The Painting Inspector will be based on‑site in Oman, working full‑time to ensure that all painting, coating and insulation activities meet project specifications and industry standards. This position involves close collaboration with site teams, contractors and quality control personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee surface preparation, paint and coating application, and insulation work.
• Inspect work at each stage, verify material quality and document results.
• Report non‑conformities to supervisors and project managers.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors and QC staff to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Participate in pre‑job meetings, support audits and maintain accurate inspection records.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of paint and coating systems, surface preparation and curing requirements.
• Experience with insulation materials and installation practices in industrial or construction settings.
• Quality‑control expertise, including inspection techniques and documentation.
• Supervisory ability to oversee site teams and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Technical diploma or engineering qualification in mechanical, civil or related discipline (preferred).
• Experience in oil & gas, industrial or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
