Planning Engineer – Construction & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support prestigious construction and infrastructure projects in Oman. The successful candidate will lead project planning activities, ensure accurate scheduling, and monitor progress to meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
• Perform project control functions, including progress tracking, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to align planning data with design, procurement, and construction activities.
• Monitor project performance against baseline schedules and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare regular schedule updates and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction project planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and control methodologies.
• Previous experience on large‑scale construction projects, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
