Presales Consultant – Cybersecurity

About the role

We are looking for a Presales Consultant specializing in Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure to join our team in Oman. The role involves leading technical engagements, delivering demos, and designing integrated solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to capture cybersecurity and IT infrastructure requirements.
• Deliver demos and presentations of cybersecurity solutions (Endpoint, Email, PAM, NDR, NAC, SOC, VAPT) and IT infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, virtualization, backup, cloud).
• Design end‑to‑end integrated solutions aligned with client environments and business goals.
• Prepare technical proposals, respond to RFIs/RFPs and create accurate Bill of Materials.
• Plan, deploy and manage Proof‑of‑Concepts independently.
• Act as trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Keep up‑to‑date with cybersecurity trends, IT infrastructure advancements and competitor offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pre‑sales or solution engineering for cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint/email protection, privileged access management, SOC operations and vulnerability assessment.
• Hands‑on experience with servers, enterprise storage, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), backup & DR, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Ability to design and document solution architectures and Bill of Materials.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, VMware, Microsoft) are a plus.
