Procurement Supervisor

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for assigned materials and services across ACWA Power’s corporate departments. The role ensures that purchasing requirements are fulfilled in line with company procedures, delivering timely and cost‑effective solutions while protecting the organization’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Gather specifications from internal departments and prepare RFQs for potential suppliers.
• Coordinate the procurement cycle, from tendering to purchase order issuance, under the supervision of the Procurement Manager.
• Negotiate quotations and terms with vendors to achieve best value.
• Administer purchase orders, obtain approvals, and monitor order acceptance and delivery.
• Process invoices in collaboration with Finance to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain the preferred supplier database through market research.
• Ensure compliance with ACWA Power’s procurement policies, legal requirements, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate procurement or purchasing.
• Strong analytical ability to compare quotations on price, quality, delivery and payment terms.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement procedures, tender committees and contract administration.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with legal, finance and operational teams.
