Product Designer

About the role

Nortal is seeking a high‑potential Product Designer to join its Middle East & Africa team in Oman. This role focuses on service transformation, designing digital systems that improve interactions between citizens, businesses and government services. You will work closely with senior design leaders and gain hands‑on experience on high‑impact programmes across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand user needs, pain points and service journeys.
• Create clear and logical user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Support workshops and collaborative sessions with FigJam or Miro.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are practical and buildable.
• Communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in UX or Product Design.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to think in systems and user flows, not just static screens.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Awareness of Omani or wider MEA cultural context.

Required skills

• Figma for UI design and prototyping.
• FigJam for collaborative workshops.
• Miro for visual collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for visual assets.
