Project HSE Analyst

About the role

The Project HSE Analyst will be based in Oman and will work on ensuring that all contractors and site supervision consultants fully comply with the OETC HSE management system. This permanent position requires a proactive professional who can deliver HSE awareness, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement on site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure contractors and site supervision consultants adhere to the OETC HSE management system requirements.
• Provide onsite HSE awareness training covering a range of safety topics.
• Monitor compliance with OSH Regulation MD 286/2008 and other applicable legal requirements.
• Oversee welfare arrangements, training programs, and related HSE activities.
• Track corrective actions, close out non‑conformances, and enforce immediate corrective measures on spot.
• Analyse audit results, identify improvement areas, and recommend remedial actions based on best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in similar HSE operations.
• Diploma or degree in a technical or administrative field.
• Strong knowledge of applicable legal HSE requirements.
• Proficient written and spoken English for business communication.
• Decisive and able to make quick, correct decisions.
• Initiative‑driven with a focus on getting tasks completed.

Required skills

• Implementation of HSE Management Systems.
• NEBOSH certification.
• IOSH certification.
