Project Manager – IT & Application Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead key IT and application development projects. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee progress of all projects and ensure delivery timelines align with approved plans.
• Manage Project Management resources to staff projects optimally.
• Collaborate with sales to document client commitments and ensure smooth transition from deal to project.
• Work with internal delivery teams to produce development artefacts.
• Control scope, manage change requests, and handle client escalations efficiently.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong rapport with client stakeholders and provide timely reporting.
• Organise and lead periodic steering committee meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or an IT‑related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in a managed services environment.
• Proven experience delivering application development projects.
• Strong technical background in Microsoft, Java, and low‑code development platforms.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; TOGAF or ITIL certifications are a plus.
• Excellent planning, communication, leadership, and decision‑making abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and approachable demeanor.
