Proposal Management Intern (Fresh Engineering Graduate)

About the role

Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure Oman division as a Proposal Management Intern. This 6‑month internship is designed for fresh engineering graduates who want to gain hands‑on experience supporting sales and proposal teams in Muscat.

Key responsibilities

• Review the status of open enquiries to ensure data quality.
• Research internal best practices and recommend Standard Operating Procedures to streamline workflows between Sales and Proposal teams.
• Support the Proposal team in bid and offer preparation.
• Assist in coordinating the transition from “Offer” to “Order” between Proposal and Sales.
• Promote inter‑departmental cooperation (Siemens One) to align technical and commercial teams with customer needs.
• Identify bottlenecks in Proposal Management and suggest digital solutions to improve response times.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with an Electrical Engineering degree.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
