Rider Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Rider Operations Coordinator will oversee the performance, compliance and daily scheduling of delivery riders across assigned zones. Working closely with recruitment, training and logistics teams, the role ensures a smooth, efficient rider fleet that meets service level targets and delivers a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve rider performance, compliance and service‑level KPIs.
• Lead rider recruitment and onboarding for the allocated zones.
• Manage rider rosters, allocating shifts, breaks and off‑days.
• Supervise rider training schedules together with Rider Trainers and Supervisors.
• Document weekly logistics KPIs and propose actionable improvement items.
• Control inventory and usage compliance of rider equipment.
• Reduce rider‑initiated cancellations and customer complaints through targeted action plans.
• Conduct on‑ground audits of fleet appearance, rider behavior and professionalism.
• Coach, warn and develop low‑performing riders via performance‑improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in the food or grocery tech industry (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven people‑management experience leading sizable teams.
• Influencing, negotiation and public‑speaking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite tools (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
