Risk Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Risk Intern to join our Risk Management team for a six‑month structured internship. This role offers hands‑on exposure to risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting within an investment and financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, assessing and monitoring organisational risks.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of risk registers and related documentation.
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and help prepare periodic risk reports.
• Collect, analyse and validate risk‑related data.
• Prepare risk dashboards, presentations and management reports.
• Contribute to risk assessments for business activities, projects and investment initiatives.
• Track risk mitigation actions and follow up with relevant departments.
• Research market, financial, operational and industry risks.
• Support scenario analysis, basic stress‑testing and risk‑assessment exercises.
• Review internal policies, procedures and controls from a risk perspective.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or final‑year student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong interest in risk management, investment, financial services or capital markets.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI (preferred).
