About the role
The Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC will lead revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives across corporate, leisure and MICE segments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for corporate, leisure and MICE markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities locally and internationally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners and key stakeholders.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections and client presentations to showcase hotel facilities and services.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns and packages.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to adjust strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and regular performance reports.
- Negotiate contracts, rates and agreements to maximise profitability.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry functions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- 5‑7 years of sales experience in 5‑star hotels.
- Strong knowledge of the local and regional market, especially corporate and MICE segments.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
