Sales Officer – Quarry & Mining Products

About the role

The Sales Officer will support daily sales activities for quarry and mining products such as aggregates, limestone, rocks and minerals. The role focuses on generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships and ensuring smooth order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, contracting and industrial sectors.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, responding to their inquiries and requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, orders and customer communications.
• Coordinate with quarry operations, dispatch, logistics, finance and quality teams to guarantee timely delivery.
• Monitor customer orders, delivery schedules and product availability.
• Follow up on payment collections, outstanding receivables and support billing and invoice reconciliation.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, collections, customer visits and market feedback.
• Address customer complaints and work with internal departments for timely resolution.
• Support the Sales/Commercial Manager in achieving sales targets and business objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies, pricing, credit terms and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Strong communication, negotiation and coordination abilities.
• Capable of working under pressure, meeting targets and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or CRM platforms is a plus.
