Senior Accountant – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead financial accounting and reporting for Takamul’s restaurant and coffee brands, ensuring accurate statements, regulatory compliance, and insightful analysis of profitability and cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Omani regulations.
• Monitor cost of goods sold, inventory, and store‑level P&L performance.
• Reconcile accounts, review journal entries, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and HR to validate financial data and analyse variances.
• Provide management with clear insights on profitability and cash flow.
• Support internal and external audits, enhance financial controls, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, general ledger management and financial statement preparation.
• Prior experience in food & beverage, retail or hospitality accounting at a senior or supervisory level is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple priorities.
