Senior Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

RQMNA is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to transform raw national platform data into actionable dashboards and metrics. You will work on‑site in Muscat, building a clean semantic layer and self‑service analytics that empower government leaders to make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the semantic layer and dimensional data models that convert raw platform data into trusted, reusable metrics.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and self‑service analytics used by leaders and government entities.
• Build operational and real‑time analytics on top of lakehouse and data warehouse solutions.
• Define and maintain a single source of truth with clear definitions, lineage, and governance.
• Optimize queries, models, and extracts for performance at national data volumes.
• Embed analytics into platform applications and citizen/entity portals.
• Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams on pipelines and models.
• Set BI standards, reusable templates, and visualization patterns while mentoring analysts.

Required profile

• Proven experience building enterprise‑scale BI solutions that drive real decisions.
• Strong understanding of semantic layers and dimensional modeling.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, trustworthy metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a valuable advantage.
