Senior Corporate Tax Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Consultant to lead international tax engagements, support M&A transactions and contribute to multi‑functional projects. You will work closely with partners, directors and cross‑border teams to deliver high‑quality tax advice to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of tax project proposals, including writing and coordinating inputs from various stakeholders.
• Deliver tax engagements that meet manager and partner quality standards within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate multi‑office engagements, consolidate inputs, and ensure timely delivery of final deliverables.
• Maintain adherence to risk and compliance processes, escalating issues to the risk team when necessary.
• Manage practice‑related tasks such as timesheets, billing, WIP reviews, and engagement closure.
• Communicate regularly with partners/directors on client, risk and practice matters, providing updates and seeking guidance.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification (ADIT, CA, ACCA, CPA or legal degree) with at least 4 years of international corporate tax consulting/M&A experience.
• Strong academic record and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal functions, external lawyers, investment managers and other stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

• International corporate tax knowledge, including holding structures, tax treaty networks and fund structuring.
• Tax due diligence, tax accounting and transfer pricing principles.
• Risk management and practice management (billing, timesheets, debtor follow‑up).
• Report writing and project management across multiple jurisdictions.
