Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (OT & Network)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join Schneider Electric’s Enterprise Network and Security Services team. The role focuses on delivering and managing OT‑focused security solutions for our customers, acting as the technical leader on‑site and across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement network‑based firewalls, intrusion detection systems and host‑based security technologies for OT environments.
• Perform site visits, installation, connectivity testing and acceptance testing of security solutions.
• Provide end‑user training, technical documentation and ongoing support for deployed solutions.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and advise the UAE Cybersecurity Operations Manager or Global Cybersecurity Director.
• Collaborate with product managers and project sponsors to ensure successful delivery of Schneider Electric security applications.
• Maintain high‑availability networking infrastructure and perform network performance monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience with OT Industrial Control Systems.
• 3+ years installing or managing network firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper or equivalent).
• 3+ years in network troubleshooting using sniffers and monitors.
• 3+ years managing intrusion detection products.
• Strong Windows Active Directory administration skills.
• Experience with host‑based security tools such as antivirus, DLP, host IPS and application whitelisting.
• Knowledge of system backup technologies and high‑availability networking.
• Ability to work in mixed TCP/IP and non‑standard protocol environments.
