Senior Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment Lead to design, enhance, and govern our Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment (CSMA) capability. The role will act as a trusted advisor to senior cybersecurity leadership, delivering an auditable, scalable, and sustainable maturity assessment framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of the CSMA methodology.
• Align assessments with frameworks such as NIST CSF, C2M2, CMMI, ISO/IEC 27001, and IEC 62443.
• Develop governance models, scoring methodologies, and assessment criteria.
• Create and review questionnaires, evidence requirements, and reporting templates.
• Conduct pilot assessments, validate outcomes, and produce audit‑ready reports.
• Provide strategic recommendations and roadmaps for cybersecurity improvement.
• Mentor assessment team members and provide technical leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years leading assessments or governance initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of maturity models (CMMI, C2M2, NIST CSF, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are highly desirable.
