Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and technical delivery of district cooling services, ensuring solutions meet client expectations and deliver a solid return on investment. This role combines advanced engineering analysis with on‑site supervision to bring projects from concept to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop construction designs and provide technical expertise for electrical disciplines within district cooling projects.
• Review and resolve design and field construction issues, ensuring constructability.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, bills of material and support site supervision and commissioning.
• Oversee draftsmen, issue bids to suppliers/sub‑contractors and conduct technical bid analysis.
• Provide on‑site engineering supervision, assist with commissioning, and monitor operational data.
• Prepare electric load schedules and design substation layouts (11 kV to 415 V).

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7‑8 years of experience in large‑scale HVAC/air‑conditioning design or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering codes and local authority requirements.
• Fluent English with solid written communication skills.

• AutoCAD 2000 for electrical drafting.
• HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) for load calculations.
• Primavera and MS Project for project scheduling.
• Substation design (11 kV to 415 V) and load scheduling.
• Technical bid preparation and analysis.
• Supervision of drafting teams.
