Senior RCM Consultant

About the role

Trifork is seeking an experienced Senior RCM Consultant to join the national Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Billing Transformation program for the Ministry of Health in Muscat, Oman. The role combines healthcare operations, policy, and digital product development to deliver transparent, compliant, and efficient billing solutions across government hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RCM domain activities throughout system design, enhancement, and rollout phases.
• Translate end‑to‑end hospital revenue cycle workflows into structured functional and system requirements.
• Review solution designs to ensure alignment with Ministry standards and real‑world hospital operations.
• Provide continuous functional guidance to business analysts and development teams.
• Lead functional testing, scenario‑based validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for claiming, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Support hospitals during onboarding, go‑live, and post‑implementation phases.
• Advise on insurance models, reimbursement mechanisms, and coding standards (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
• Contribute to the development and refinement of national RCM, billing, and claiming policies.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in Revenue Cycle Management within a healthcare setting.
• Deep knowledge of hospital billing, coding, and reimbursement workflows.
• Strong understanding of Ministry of Health regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work onsite in Muscat and collaborate with government stakeholders.
