Senior Software Developer – Oman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications and services in Oman. The role involves both backend and frontend development, micro‑services integration, and the use of AI‑powered tools to boost productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure backend services, APIs and business functionalities.
• Participate in full‑stack development, including frontend tasks.
• Build and maintain microservices‑based applications and integrations.
• Apply secure coding practices, perform code reviews and ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, defects and production incidents.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders.
• Support deployment, release, and operational activities.
• Prepare and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools for coding, testing, documentation and debugging.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, design patterns and SDLC.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
