Shutdown Manager

About the role

The Shutdown Manager is responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day execution of turnaround activities across PDO interior sites. The role ensures that all field work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with the approved schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate field execution across all disciplines and align daily work fronts with approved plans and look‑ahead schedules.
• Identify and resolve congestion, SIMOPS, and productivity issues.
• Drive short‑interval control and recovery actions.
• Interface with contractor supervisors and company site representatives.
• Provide daily execution status to the Planner and Coordinator.
• Ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
• Attend regular turnaround team meetings to coordinate priorities.
• Manage and coordinate interfaces with other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.), preferably Mechanical.
• Membership of an internationally recognized professional institute.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance, turnaround and shutdown management.
