Supply Chain Capability Coach

About the role

The Supply Chain Capability Coach will strengthen workforce capability by delivering hands‑on coaching, mentoring and practical knowledge transfer across procurement, contracting, logistics, supplier management and commercial functions. Working closely with operational teams, the coach will drive higher execution quality, governance compliance and long‑term organisational capability.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor employees across core supply‑chain disciplines.
• Support procurement, contracting, logistics, supplier management and commercial activities.
• Provide guidance on governance, policies and operational best practices.
• Facilitate on‑the‑job learning, workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Assist with tender evaluations, supplier negotiations and operational problem‑solving.
• Lead capability‑development initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Logistics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply‑chain, procurement, contracting, logistics or project delivery.
• Proven experience in large, complex organisations, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy or Industrial sectors.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, PMP, CPIM, CSCP or CPSM are a plus.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring and capability development.
