Support & Implementation Internship (Omani Nationals)

About the role

This summer internship offers hands‑on experience in IT support, system monitoring, and basic troubleshooting. Interns will work closely with internal technical teams, assisting with day‑to‑day support tasks while developing professional skills in a real‑world environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support for internal systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance and report issues to senior team members.
• Assist in troubleshooting simple software and system problems.
• Document incidents and updates using internal tools.
• Coordinate with the technical team for escalations when needed.
• Follow established support processes and best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
• Contribute to team tasks and ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or fresh graduate (up to 1 year of experience) with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT concepts such as operating systems, databases, and networking.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to follow instructions and quickly adapt to new tasks.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases.
• Understanding of application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat).
• Exposure to container tools like Docker.
