Team Leader - Bakery

About the role

The Bakery Team Leader is responsible for delivering high‑quality, fresh bakery products while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will drive sales, manage stock, and lead a team to meet the store’s performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement commercial policy for store pricing and product assortment in the bakery section.
• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers to reinforce discount visibility.
• Monitor Net Promoter Score (NPS) and act on improvement areas.
• Oversee stock management, including reporting, replenishment orders, and merchandise deliveries.
• Drive initiatives to minimise waste and shrinkage, and produce related reports.
• Ensure the team provides excellent customer service and promotes sales.
• Provide training, coaching, and feedback to direct reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Commerce or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years experience in retail operations.
• Warm, customer‑service oriented disposition.
• Clear communicator with strong people‑building skills.
• Detail‑oriented and action‑driven.
