Cashier – Grab & Go at Oman Airport

About the role

Calo is seeking a customer‑focused Cashier to join its Grab & Go concept operating at Oman Airport. You will ensure a smooth, friendly checkout experience while keeping the store tidy, stocked, and ready for travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and process purchases accurately using the Foodics/FoodX POS system.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments following company cash‑handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier station throughout the shift.
• Monitor chillers, replenish products, and rotate stock using FIFO.
• Conduct quality checks to meet presentation and food‑safety standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure product availability.
• Report stock shortages, product issues, or operational concerns promptly.
• Assist with receiving and organizing stock deliveries when needed.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve concerns, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a cashier, retail, or customer‑service role, preferably in F&B, convenience retail, or Grab & Go.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced retail or airport environment is an advantage.
• Currently based in Oman or eligible to work in Oman.
• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems, specifically Foodics or FoodX.
• Strong cash‑handling and transaction management abilities.
• Understanding of stock replenishment and FIFO inventory rotation.
• Ability to monitor and maintain chilled product displays.
• Basic computer skills.
