Civil Engineer – Owner’s Engineer – Oman

About the role

We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers to join our Owner’s Engineer team for a renewable‑energy infrastructure project in Oman. The role involves reviewing civil and structural designs, supervising construction, and ensuring quality across foundations, roads, drainage, cable trenches, buildings and substation works.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Supervise civil works including foundations, access roads, drainage systems, buildings, cable trenches and control rooms.
• Monitor construction quality – geotechnical verification, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, testing and inspections.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with electrical, wind, solar PV, BESS, grid and other disciplines.
• Witness inspections and tests according to approved inspection and test plans.
• Identify risks, non‑conformances and progress issues and support corrective actions.
• Provide civil discipline input to progress reports, technical meetings and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil/structural design review, construction supervision or site engineering on power generation, renewable‑energy or EPC projects.
• Experience with foundations, access roads, drainage, cable trenches, substations or balance‑of‑plant works.
• Preferred experience in wind turbine foundations, solar PV/BESS civil works or substation civil works.
