Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie supports the kitchen team by ensuring high‑quality food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness. Working under senior chefs, you will help maintain the restaurant’s standards of service and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain mise en place for your section to the required standard.
• Ensure correct plating, cooking, and presentation of dishes with guidance from senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of kitchen equipment.
• Confidently run at least two kitchen sections during service.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and manage prep lists.
• Apply specification knowledge and portion control consistently.
• Collaborate daily with the Chef de Partie and Commis Chef.
• Foster good working relationships with colleagues across all departments.

• Ability to work efficiently under time‑pressured conditions.
• Strong understanding of kitchen workflow and service standards.
• Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
