Director of Project Management

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim is looking for an experienced Director of Project Management to lead the delivery of large‑scale residential, non‑residential, infrastructure and landscape projects. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of all built‑form and infrastructure works, from planning and procurement through execution, handover and post‑delivery support.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term delivery plans, forecast monthly progress, and monitor cost, time and quality against business targets.
• Lead and coordinate project management staff, contractors and consultants, providing clear briefings and on‑site leadership.
• Control time, cost, quality and health‑and‑safety performance using dashboards, programs, budgets and regular meetings.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs for consultants and contractors, ensuring alignment with budgets and project goals.
• Drive best‑practice benchmarking, value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customer experience and facilities‑management teams to ensure a positive post‑handover experience.
• Develop and report on safety, sustainability and innovation strategies for each business plan year.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in delivering large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Hands‑on, results‑oriented approach with a focus on stakeholder satisfaction.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with a track record of meeting cash‑flow and revenue targets.
