Food & Beverage Host

About the role

Six Senses Zighy Bay is seeking a friendly and attentive Food & Beverage Host to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with the brand’s values of emotional hospitality, sustainability and wellness. You will be the first point of contact for diners, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth service throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously, escort them to their tables and present menus.
• Answer telephone calls for the outlet following departmental standards.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the service team.
• Inspect menus and wine lists for cleanliness and condition.
• Prepare and maintain mise‑en‑place before service begins.
• Maintain knowledge of all outlet menus, prices and opening hours to suggest upselling opportunities.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Uphold Six Senses service guidelines, LQA standards and guest feedback protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma or degree preferred.
• 1‑3 years experience in a full‑service restaurant or similar luxury hospitality setting.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or a valid food service/health handler permit.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel as a single status.
