About the role
An experienced General Chef/Cook is sought for a reputed employer in Oman, working on Indian cuisine and tandoor bread. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Oman. The role is full-time and permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Indian breads such as paratha, tandoori roti, chapati and naan
- Cook dishes including dal, keema, egg and tomato, butter chicken and meat-based preparations
- Handle sausages, liver dishes, dried meat and chicken items
- Maintain taste consistency, food quality and presentation
- Ensure proper kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage daily kitchen activities efficiently
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a chef, cook or baker
- Strong expertise in Indian bread preparation (mandatory); video proof of making paratha required
- Gulf experience preferred
- Basic communication skills in English or Arabic
- Above 30 years of age
