Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Oman (Nizwa, Dakhiliya Region)

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist to join its Specialized Nutrition team in Nizwa, Oman. The role focuses on building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and promoting Danone’s nutrition solutions as the preferred choice.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to establish and maintain scientific‑based relationships with HCPs.
• Present clinical data, product information and visual/audio materials to illustrate the benefits of Danone’s nutrition solutions.
• Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activity and propose actions to protect market share.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and respond to HCP queries or complaints.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports in the required format and schedule.
• Ensure all activities comply with WHO and local regulations for infant formula products.
• Organise and deliver seminars, nutrition education sessions and other scientific events.
• Manage daily database entries and follow administrative procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in medical detailing or a similar field‑based role within healthcare nutrition.
• Proven ability to influence HCP attitudes through scientific argumentation.
• Strong analytical mindset to gather market intelligence and translate it into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills for face‑to‑face and group presentations.
