HVAC Assistant Sales Manager - B2B Retail

About the role

Al-Futtaim Retail is looking for an HVAC Assistant Sales Manager (B2B) to sell air conditioning projects, focusing on VRF, DX and ducted cassette systems. The role builds a pipeline of project opportunities, develops lasting customer relationships and contributes to the profitability and growth of the Air Conditioning Projects Division.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, generate and convert HVAC project enquiries (VRF, DX, ducted systems) into confirmed orders through technical and commercial engagement.
• Expand the customer base by exploring new segments and market opportunities.
• Design HVAC solutions, prepare cost estimates and generate competitive proposals aligned with client needs.
• Ensure timely payment collection to support cash flow and project profitability.
• Maintain a balanced, profitable sales portfolio across industries and geographies.
• Carry out market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategy.
• Work with design, procurement and installation teams to deliver projects smoothly.

Required profile

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in HVAC project sales/marketing, preferably in Oman.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems (VRF, DX, ducted cassette).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and proposal writing skills.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Oman/Middle East driving licence preferred.
