Information Management Specialist

About the role

The Information Management Specialist will lead the design and implementation of data governance, quality, and lifecycle processes for our operations in Oman. The role requires close collaboration with both business and technical teams to ensure data is reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
• Manage data quality initiatives, including rule definition, profiling, monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structures.
• Implement metadata management, business glossary, and data catalog solutions.
• Perform data lineage and impact analysis.
• Oversee master and reference data management, as well as information lifecycle and records management.
• Establish data classification and handling requirements.
• Create data governance KPIs, dashboards, and maturity assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance or information management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to work with both business and technical teams.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
