Interior Fit-out & Joinery Operations Manager

About the role

The Interior Fit-out & Joinery Operations Manager will lead all factory and site activities, ensuring efficient production, high quality standards, and on‑time delivery for interior fit‑out projects. This senior position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage machines, workers, and all disciplines across factory and fit‑out sites.
• Drive productivity improvements using modern management techniques.
• Prepare estimates, cutting lists, and allocate daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
• Oversee man‑hour utilization, subcontractor performance, and material procurement.
• Schedule production cycles, handle MAS, drawings, mock‑ups, sample approvals, and ensure quality assurance.
• Maintain direct client and consultant communication, translating expectations to internal teams.
• Recruit, train, and develop multicultural blue‑collar workforce.
• Enforce HSE standards on shop floor and work sites.
• Mentor and motivate staff, fostering discipline and wellbeing.
• Manage financial performance to achieve a healthy bottom line.

Required profile

• Graduate in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in interior fit‑out & joinery, with at least 3 years in the Gulf.
• Proven track record of efficient operations and team leadership.
• Current residence in Oman with a valid NOC.
• GCC driving licence.
