Project Engineer – Fresh Graduate (Omani)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Omani fresh graduate to join Dream Group’s engineering team as a Project Engineer. The role offers structured mentorship and hands‑on exposure to real‑world construction projects, preparing you for future project‑leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior project engineers and managers with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering activities.
• Support preparation of project documentation such as method statements, material submittals and inspection requests.
• Collect, organise and analyse project data (progress, cost, resource usage) and help produce daily/weekly reports.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and technical meetings to understand construction workflows.
• Collaborate with design, procurement and construction teams to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Identify potential technical issues and propose practical solutions under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and industry standards (ISO, OSHA, local regulations).
• Maintain project files, drawings and correspondence using document‑control systems.

Required profile

• Omani nationality (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum GPA 2.8/4.0 (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, teamwork and communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Eager to learn, adaptable, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
