Quantity Surveyor – Civil Site Supervision

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Civil Site Supervision is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Muscat. You will be responsible for controlling project costs, preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities, and ensuring civil works are executed to approved specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed civil works.
• Evaluate contractors’ payment applications, variations and claims.
• Prepare cost reports and monitor financial performance against budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers and project management teams to ensure cost control and quality compliance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying and civil site supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to review invoices, payment applications and contractual variations.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control and commercial management.
• Previous experience on projects in Oman or the GCC is preferred.
