Sales Manager – Europe

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its European leisure sales. You will be responsible for growing the hotel’s presence across Europe by building and nurturing relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, consortia, luxury travel agencies and other key partners.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire, develop and manage leisure accounts across Europe in line with the hotel’s business mix strategy.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships to maximise revenue from European source markets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and economic conditions to spot opportunities and risks.
• Provide accurate, timely reporting on account and segment performance and recommend revenue‑maximising strategies.
• Implement sales action plans, quote and negotiate rates for transient, long‑stay and group business.
• Maintain accurate account records, production data and customer profiles in the sales management system.
• Handle all customer inquiries and requests according to company standards.
• Prepare performance updates, market intelligence and customer feedback for sales meetings.
• Conduct sales calls and client presentations to promote the property and the MOHG portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury hotel or resort sales, preferably with a focus on European leisure markets.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
