Senior Accountant

About the role

Snoonu is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead revenue, accounts payable and inventory accounting across its regional operations. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial processes for the Core and Group Finance teams in Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own last‑mile and marketplace revenue accounting, including B2B invoicing, sales calculation, billing, and COGS reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor relations: create payment bills, reconcile statements, process bulk payments and handle supplier enquiries.
• Oversee Snoomart inventory accounting, consignment sales reporting, RTV entries, AP schedules, accruals and monthly bill validation.
• Handle cash and petty‑cash operations, including collections, refunds, vouchers and manual wallet transfers.
• Prepare AP/AR aging reports and marketplace inventory reports for the wider finance team.
• Support the Kuwait entity with IFRS 16 postings, payroll booking, depreciation, Salesforce/IBAN verification, weekly payments and month‑end close.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA, CPA or CMA qualification is a plus.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with multi‑entity revenue, AP and inventory exposure.
• Strong analytical ability to reconcile high‑volume data and resolve discrepancies independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder liaison.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Odoo and procurement platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Salesforce for verification processes.
