Senior Manager - SME Strategy & Development

About the role

The Senior Manager – SME Strategy & Development will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the bank’s SME Development Program. Reporting to senior leadership, the role shapes financing, advisory, mentoring and capacity‑building solutions that drive sustainable growth for high‑potential small and medium enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine the SME Development Program framework, including eligibility criteria, selection methodology and value proposition.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of program initiatives, coordinating resources, timelines and stakeholder activities.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard high‑potential SMEs based on financial, strategic and operational criteria.
• Manage relationships with internal departments, external partners, regulators and industry stakeholders to ensure program alignment and effectiveness.
• Monitor program performance against KPIs, track SME growth outcomes and prepare management reports for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with advisors, consultants and ecosystem participants to enhance program offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and managing SME‑focused financial or development programs.
• Strong analytical ability to assess business viability and growth potential of SMEs.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of building cross‑functional collaborations.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable results.
