Senior Project Director – Masirah Island

About the role

The Senior Project Director will lead the full lifecycle of development and construction projects on Masirah Island, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards. This senior position reports to senior management and represents the owner during high‑level stakeholder visits.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in value engineering and design optimisation with consultants and senior management.
• Manage tender documentation, pre‑qualification, evaluation, negotiations, award recommendation and contract finalisation.
• Secure all permits, licences, IFC drawings, insurances and contractual requirements before works commence.
• Oversee project mobilisation, construction execution, quality, cost, schedule, safety, change control and risk management.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, government authorities, utility providers and internal teams.
• Prepare and issue weekly, monthly and executive‑level progress reports.
• Lead project close‑out activities including testing, commissioning, snagging, documentation, statutory approvals, operational readiness, handover and DLP management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Planning or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in large‑scale construction or development projects.
