Assistant Plant Operator

About the role

The Assistant Plant Operator will support daily plant operations in an industrial environment, working closely with senior operators to ensure smooth production flow and safe working conditions. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in machinery monitoring, material handling, and basic maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in operating and monitoring plant machinery according to standard procedures.
• Support routine maintenance and inspection activities under supervision.
• Handle material movement and perform basic operational tasks to keep production on schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas, adhering to all safety standards.
• Follow instructions from Plant Operators and supervisors, reporting any irregularities promptly.

Required profile

• Technical qualification such as ITI or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with a technical background are also welcome.
• Physically fit and able to work in an industrial setting, including shift work.
• Commitment to follow safety standards and company procedures.
