About the role
The Butchery Supervisor is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales targets within a hypermarket environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily butchery operations, ensuring product quality, freshness and availability.
- Manage stock levels, place replenishment orders and monitor deliveries.
- Control waste, shrinkage and stock losses through proper handling, storage and rotation.
- Ensure accurate pricing, promotional execution and attractive product displays.
- Monitor slow‑moving products and take actions to maximise sales before expiration.
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, health and security standards.
- Lead, train and monitor team performance to deliver excellent customer service.
- Analyse performance data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a butchery, meat processing or retail food environment.
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, product handling, storage standards and food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication and team development skills.
- Arabic speaker is mandatory.
