About the role
The Delicatessen Supervisor will lead the deli department of a hypermarket, ensuring high‑quality product presentation, freshness and an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the delicatessen, maintaining product availability and visual standards.
- Manage assortment, pricing and promotional activities to drive sales.
- Monitor inventory, coordinate replenishment orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Control stock loss, waste and shrinkage while upholding food safety and hygiene.
- Ensure accurate labeling, pricing and compliance with merchandising guidelines.
- Supervise, coach and evaluate team members to deliver efficient service.
- Analyse customer satisfaction and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a delicatessen, food retail or supermarket environment.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, product presentation and food safety standards.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
