Carpenter – Resort Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the maintenance team at a luxury resort in Muscat. The role involves building, installing and repairing a variety of interior wood and finish elements to ensure the property remains in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Build, install and repair walls, partitions, drywall, wallpaper, millwork, molding and faux finishes.
• Install and repair laminate finishes and perform rough‑in framing for doors, windows and cabinetry.
• Construct and maintain wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture and other fixtures.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks including tightening fixtures, changing bulbs and patching wall holes.
• Process requisitions, order supplies and coordinate with approved vendors.
• Load, transport and unload freight using hand trucks and elevators.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies and report hazards promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related carpentry or maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, work at heights and perform physical tasks safely.
