Junior Key Account Manager – Food Service

About the role
Arla is looking for a Junior Key Account Manager to lead sales growth, distribution expansion, and customer relationships for its Food Service portfolio in the Salalah region. You will work closely with hotels, restaurants, cafés and QSRs, supporting key accounts and identifying new business opportunities that align with Arla’s strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales volume, revenue and margin targets for assigned Food Service accounts.
- Develop new business in HoReCa, QSR and café segments and increase product penetration for strategic brands such as cheese, cream and butter.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing key customers, ensuring contract compliance, pricing execution and agreed terms.
- Conduct regular business reviews and prepare accurate sales forecasts for the Salalah region.
- Coordinate with supply chain and distributors to guarantee stock availability.
- Track performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams to ensure route coverage, customer visits and efficient order collection.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Foodservice or FMCG sales, preferably handling HoReCa/QSR accounts.
- Strong negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
- Good understanding of the Foodservice market dynamics in Oman, especially Salalah.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Self‑driven, proactive and result‑oriented.
