Senior Accountant / Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to lead our finance function across multiple business units and project sites. The successful candidate will drive financial planning, manage banking relationships, and ensure robust accounting and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies, financial models and investment evaluations for new projects and opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis, evaluate ROI, profitability and financial risks to support strategic decisions.
• Maintain relationships with banks, manage financing arrangements, loan facilities and prepare required documentation.
• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and fixed assets across head office and project sites.
• Supervise month‑end and year‑end closing, and produce accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and ensure tax and audit compliance.
• Streamline accounting systems, implement best practices and support digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA) highly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance or financial control.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience coordinating with banks and managing financing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations and internal control frameworks.
